I got this new laptop that comes with a 256 GB ssd drive 128 GB are used for the preinstalled Windows 7
I want to install Ubuntu on the other 128 Gb.
I first installed 12.10, it worked and booted once into the OS bu then it started booting onto a black screen so i tried with 12.04.1, i tried installing it a few times with the normal and alternate installer but after saying the installation was OK, it boots onto this distorted graphics screen with a purpelish background where you can't do anything....
What do i do?
