I have a problem with ubuntu. I downloaded the Windows installer version (wubi.exe). I chose the installation size: 11GB , and a password. I clicked install, and when it finishes, I reboot my computer. After that, I chose the Ubuntu operating system , and i wait for it to check, the installation. After a few minutes, I saw the Welcome message. And than, my desktop turn black , the mouse cursor still can be visible and busy. If I press ctrl+alt+f3 , I can use the virtual console like terminal, and when I go back to the desktop, it remains black.. is my installation bad, or do I have to wait? I will make a movie tomorrow with this.

try pressing Ctrl+Alt+f7 That should take you to the login screen. If not, cycle from Ctrl+alt+f1 to f7 and one of the keys should help. – drN Oct 28 '12 at 21:00
