Standby works fine some of the time, but quite often the screen will stay black when trying to resume, hard disk churning away. If I leave it for a loong time like 5-6mins it seems to make it back up and works ok, but it's pretty annoying. Especially since it's a shared PC and my wife now thinks linux is rubbish :/
Running 12.04 on a Sony VGN-SR51MF notebook, with the fglrx gfx drivers (fglrx enhanced won't install).
