I upgraded my Kernel to 3.6 in Ubuntu 12.04 and since then, Network Manager does not see the dongle when its connected.

I downloaded Sakis3g, and when I use it to switch on the modem, Network Manager is able to see the dongle and connect to the Internet. Some how, I suspect that, the modem is not been switched on when connected.
