Did this to get a log:

software-center --debug 2>&1 | egrep -v "file download|download for|download_file" > softwarecenter.log

Grab Synaptic Package Manager, and uninstall/re-install Ubuntu Software Center? That's the best advice I can offer, but it's not a firm answer. – Omio Oct 27 '12 at 18:02

You aren't explaining your problem well.

But try to report a bug on launchpad against the Software-Center (in Ubuntu).
