After upgrading 12.10 tonight, Ubuntu doesn't recognise anymore my password. So I cannot access software center and access my admin account !
How to solve this issue ?
problem solved, Ubuntu uninsalled on this laptop, switch back to Windows7.

First, let's make sure to actually check that your password is changed/corrupted.
If everything points to your password being corrupted/changed, move on to this next step. Try entering recovery mode. To do so, restart your computer. Immediately after your computer restarts, hold the On the other hand, if you were one of the fellows who added a password to your root account, or if you have another account with sudo access, just hop onto the same terminal used to check your account and log in with that user/password and use the Let us know how this all works out. From the comments you made above, it sounds like your password is blank. Unfortunately, you also stated that you installed Windows 7, so this question is no longer valid. |
