The well known Monit utility will not launch and stay running as a daemon on 12.04. Most of the instructions found on the web are outdated for 10 or 11 versions of Ubuntu.
Anyone had any success in solving this problem? I have a new Java application written for a customer that stops every week or so for no apparent reason. Need to automatically get it restarted.
