I need a good word processor for Xubuntu which:

1) is able to memorize the font size I am using within the documents; and

2) can be scrolled with the mouse wheel.

Plain text editors do not allow me to memorize the font size I am using, while the other editors I have tried (Abiword and Open Office) seem to have a bug with the scrolling. Does anyone have any suggestion?

(Edit: problem originated from here: How can I keep two different font sizes on two different documents? )

For AbiWord this is bug #960089 which is in state "fix released". –  Takkat Oct 25 '12 at 20:08

I am new to Xubuntu, and I am not sure how I can fix the bug, even reading your link. –  Alfamirto Oct 25 '12 at 20:58

One suggestion there was to downgrade to an earlier version of AbiWord (see also askubuntu.com/questions/142268/…) if you cant wait until the fix is released. –  Takkat Oct 25 '12 at 21:06
