There's a wiki to install Unity lens named
First download the latest lens package from the project launchpad page (by clicking on the green button to the right).
Move this package to your Home folder. Right-click on it and choose "Extract here".
Next open a terminal and enter the following commands:
cd unity-lens-bliss-0.1.3 ./configure –prefix=/usr –sysconfdir=/etc make sudo make install
I have to install
libapp-options-perl first, to make
-prefix possible and have to get
./configure alone, without the rest of point 2.
And then, the system can't find the data (with the order –prefix=/usr or –prefix=/usr/home or –prefix=/usr/local).
After I make point one, the terminal gives this info:
Prefix : /usr/local
What's going on?
Edit: I did
1) cd unity-lens-bliss-0.1.3
3) sudo make install
And it looks like the install gets good, I replace Unity, and it's not working.
