I have recently abandoned Apple and moved to Linux. I was wondering if somebody could help me figure out why my Internet connection is so slow on Ubuntu 12.04. On my MBP I can download and upload at 25Mbs (which is my max. speed) I've tried to install the drivers from both (ralink and medialink websites) with no result. It seems like there is a limit somewhere that stops both the upload and the download speed from going over aprox. 5Mbps.
Where should I start trying to solve this problem ?
