I have an EliteBook 2730p, Energy Star, Windows 7 Pro and I can't get the sound on it. It's a dual-boot (Ubuntu 12.04), and the sound card works perfectly fine on Windows. 

EliteBook:~$ grep "Codec:" /proc/asound/card*/codec*
/proc/asound/card0/codec#0:Codec: Analog Devices AD1984A
/proc/asound/card0/codec#1:Codec: LSI ID 1040

What could be the problem?
