I have copied easytether software to my computer. when I attempt to install, the install button is greyed out and can't click on it. please help

Did you download the .deb file from mobile-stream.com/easytether/drivers.html? – devav2 Oct 23 '12 at 5:29

In the console, navigate to the directory the .deb file is in.

sudo dpkg -i easytether*
