Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have just joined UbuntuOne Music and uploaded a couple of hundred (legitimately purchased) tracks. All of the tracks uploaded are MP3 format; further, all of the tracks are recognized within storage by the correct artist and track.

However, when, within UbuntuOne Music, my catalogue of music presents itself as largely "unknown" artist and "unknown" song. Making this problem a double-bind is the (apparent) lack of a means to rename a track from "unknown" to something recognizable for purposes of creating playlists.

I like the music section and concept of UbuntuOne; however, without the ability to identify the majority of my tracks, the service is not of much use.

Is there a solution to my anonymous tracks?
