I got stuck with a net connection problem on a newly installed Ubuntu 12.04 . I am using Qual-Comm HS-USB modem to connect to internet. It was not detected initially after installation of the OS. However, it got detected and could connect to the Internet after following the steps shown here.
But most of the time on starting the system it is not detecting the device as a modem. I need to reboot the system, so that it gets detected. I don't understand what to do.
Any help would be appreciated.
