I am trying to install Ubuntu 10.10 64 bit OS in Lenovo Think pad Edge E430 laptop (4GB RAM, 500GB Hard disk with 1GB Nvidia graphics) but its not installing. Its giving error of some graphic issues. Kindly help me which ubuntu will suitable for this model.

Lenovo E430 supports Ubuntu 10.XX.

If it is not booting then in the bios settings, set HDD compatibility to compatible, then try again.

12.04 should work just fine. When you boot from the Ubuntu media, choose the option to try Ubuntu (don't choose to install Ubuntu) - this way you can check how the distro performs without having to take the time and hassle of actually installing. If it works okay, then you can install.
