I've got a recent problem with Ubuntu 12.10. I just upgraded from 12.04 and it keeps complaining about lightdm not being installed properly. I'm pretty new to Linux. I have no clue what to do here.

@EliahKagan No.'Unity Missing' (up in the title) fits with the dupe (and has helpful answers), so flagged as possible dupe.
