I tried connecting Reliance broadband in ubuntu. An auto-run prompt came up. When I click install another pop up comes saying auto-run file not found. And when I checked in Internet connection to add connection. The Reliance broadband option itself is not there as a connected device.

Thanks for responding. I didnt get any notification that anyone replied. Its a wireless connection. Why that reliance broadband + itself is not coming when i tried to add in network connections. Devise is detected, it is coming on my desktop. – user97881 Oct 15 '12 at 18:50

@MarkPaskal Its a wireless connetion mark. I tried installing usb-modeswitch-data and usb-modeswitch. Still the device name is not coming in Mobile broadband in network connections. – Athira R Oct 17 '12 at 5:34
Do you have the make and model of the USB modem? When I search reliance on Google it gives me a company. Can you please run sudo lsusb in a terminal (press Ctrl+Alt+T to open a terminal) and copy the output into your question using the edit link? – Mark Paskal Oct 17 '12 at 6:20
