This question already has an answer here:

I am looking for the feature that KDE, WIn7 and afaik also Unity provide regarding automated resizing of the windows once i drag it against screen borders and let go.

This question has been there before, others were told to install compiz, but that didnt quet change anything.

I am running Xubuntu 12.04 (XFCE), a little hint would be appreciated! :)

are you sure you are using Xubuntu, not Ubuntu? Or gnome/kde and not xfce? –  skipsilver Oct 12 '12 at 9:31
I'm using xubuntu but with compiz and emerald. I'd like to have that feature as well! –  Anthony Oct 12 '12 at 23:32
@Anthony If you're using Compiz, you already have that option just set up the plugins in CCSM. –  Uri Herrera Oct 12 '12 at 23:47

This has never been implemented in Xfce. The developers have stated they do not plan to implement it. It may be available through a plugin or add on application, but will not be available as an item in Xfce.

A bit of research would be nice, maybe a link to where the developers have stated this. –  Mateo Nov 17 '12 at 2:49
