I run:

sudo apt-get install python-pyinotify

And it wants to remove these packages:

kde-baseapps-bin{u} kde-baseapps-data{u} 

Why? They are unnecessary and conflicts with python-pyinotify?

Maybe is that. When you try to install the package, is not also installing something similar and is removing the packages you mention to avoid conflicts? – DrKenobi Oct 7 '12 at 16:01

I can't reproduce the output. I just installed kde-baseapps-bin back, remove and install again python-pyinotify. And now it not askng to remove python-pyinotify. – Turako Oct 9 '12 at 5:25
