Archive: /media/CANOSCAN/MSETUP4.EXE
[/media/CANOSCAN/MSETUP4.EXE]
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not
a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the
latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
the last disk(s) of this archive.
zipinfo: cannot find zipfile directory in one of /media/CANOSCAN/MSETUP4.EXE or
/media/CANOSCAN/MSETUP4.EXE.zip, and cannot find /media/CANOSCAN/MSETUP4.EXE.ZIP, period.

You cannot use the Windows driver in Linux. Probably it will work out of the box. Just connect the scanner and check if it is recognized. –  Salem Oct 5 '12 at 19:52
