I've just installed 12.04 on my laptop near a Windows XP as second operating system, and the wireless is not working on it.

I tried to connect to it, just figured out, what SSID and BSSID are, but still not working. Wireless was disabled after installing, but I enabled it, and now it says that firmware is missing.

How could I install driver for my wireless, without Internet? I have net now, on Windows, but only wireless, and I don't have wired one. I have Windows driver, or I can download now the driver, restart, copy, and install driver, but I don't know if that is possible or not, and how to do that. If someone could help me in this, it would be great.

I saw some forum questions, where the first question was this, so I attached them, maybe it will be useful.

Try running jockey-gtk in a terminal (ctrl-alt-t). That should open up jockey, which will attempt to install the appropriate driver for your device. –  InkBlend Oct 4 '12 at 22:15

Can`t run, because I don`t have internet on Ubunu, if I can get a cable, I will try it, but until that, I would like to make it the other way, the harder way. But anyway, thanx. I've found a useful description about this problem help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/Driver/… and it describe's the whole procedure, but I don`t understand from where do I download the files, and where do I have to put them, in order to the installer to work. –  user94597 Oct 5 '12 at 0:13
