My laptop has an HDMI output, two stereo headphone jacks, and internal speakers. Unfortunately, the internal speakers do not work, except at the login screen when my computer boots. I've tried setting the output device to Analog Stereo Duplex using PulseAudio Volume Control, but switching the port from headphones to speakers under output devices seems only to change which headphone port I'm outputting to. In other words, my computer appears to be under the impression that one of my headphone ports is actually my internal speakers. Which completely prevents my actual internal speakers from getting any loving. Any idea how I can solve this?
