I have a conky script that ran well for a while, and it implemented TBG's weather script - specifically the one for accuweather USA.

For some reason, completely unprompted, the 2nd and 3rd day stopped displaying. I looked at the script for the conky itself and nothing was wrong, and then looked at the weather script (I had modified it a bit to suit my tastes) and compared it to the original script in his tar.Nothing of importance was changed (as far as field values and things like that, everything was identical.

The only thing I had changed was the location of the weather forecast, and I deleted the last two days because I only wanted a three-day forecast).

Keep in mind I had done all of this before and it had worked fine, but something had happened and suddenly it wasn't displaying properly.

Today I noticed that the high and low temps were switched. None of the field values had been changed, but the issue was still there.

Any ideas as to what might have caused this?

Perhaps an ubuntu update could have interfered with the weather retrieval service?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Do you have the latest version of the script? Visit the script's new home (since April): Clickety

This is where I got the code from originally, so I don't believe obsoletion is the problem here. – Ambrose Oct 10 '12 at 21:06
