I downloaded Ubuntu 12.04 LTS two weeks ago and I have some problems. I cannot send pdf attachments with my email server. Why? Before with the old version it works very well. Please answer me without technical terminology.

If it is a third-party email service - that you access through the internet - it is a problem for you to troubleshoot with your provider. – Mochan Oct 7 '12 at 9:14
