Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

There is only one version of the libreoffice package in Debian Squeeze Backports:

apt-cache madison libreoffice
libreoffice | 1:3.5.4-7~bpo60+1 | http://backports.debian.org/debian-backports/ squeeze-backports/main amd64 Packages

But I need to install the previous one (1:3.4.6-2~bpo60+2) Is there a way to install it using packages (I don't want to install libreoffice manually as it has a lot dependencies).

You could go to http://backports.debian.org/debian-backports/pool/main/libr/libreoffice/ and download each 32/64 bit debs you need. Make sure you download them all into a single folder and then run

sudo dpkg -i *.deb

in that folder. If there are outside dependencies outside of that you could add the above backport link as a source and apt-get install it from that source only.
