I have installed Windows 7 on my PC. Now I want to install Ubuntu 12.04. I have 4 hard drive partitions. I have emptied my E: drive to install Ubuntu in there.

But when I run live CD, only C: appears in normal size. D:, E:, F: are gathered in one size. How come?

Can you add a screenshot of the partitioning phase from the installation process? – Anwar Sep 19 '12 at 15:44
Also, please run gparted and post a screenshot of each of the available drives – MestreLion Sep 19 '12 at 17:41
