I installed Ubuntu 11.04 after that a Part of my HDD is not showing up, I have all the Important Data in it. How do i recover the data?
I have not formatted   it, So please help me to show up the partition or recover the data safely (if possible with the same file names).
In the below screenshot of Disk Utility the one which is selected is the drive partition which is not showing up.
I have attached the screenshot of the My Computer too

"the one which is selected is the drive partition which is not showing up" - are you talking about the Extended entry? An extended partition is a container for other partitions, it does not contain any data itself. In your case, the extended partition contains a partition labeled "Official" (note their size is the same) – Sergey Sep 18 '12 at 5:06
Can you see your data in the "Official" partition? – Takkat Sep 18 '12 at 6:09
@Sergey My HDD is 1TB & I Seperated 100, 200, 200, 200, 300. I doubt that my data is in the formatted Part of 486GB free space. Is there any way that I can retrive my data from that Free Space after converting it to a partition.? – VenomVendor Sep 18 '12 at 7:47

For NTFS you may try recovery with testdisk: askubuntu.com/questions/30791/… – Takkat Sep 18 '12 at 8:06
