pppoeconf now working in ubuntu 11.04. so i tried using network manager by adding dsl connection.after putting all details user name ,password , service name its working first time, named dslconnection1. but after rebooting i am not able to connect to internet. both ppppoeconf is not working and dslconnection1 option is not visible,also auto etho is not visible. so how to connect to internet in above case

If you right-click on network-manager icon, what is written there? Is there "Not managed"? – Jaroslav Bucko Sep 15 '12 at 14:36
clicking on network manager getting option Device not managed which is disabled. – Vijay Nalawade Sep 17 '12 at 4:20
try sudo gedit /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf set managed=true save run sudo service network-manager restart setup pppoe via Network Manager (dsl connection) – Jaroslav Bucko Sep 17 '12 at 7:12
