I have already read this and the solutions didn't help me. I am running ubuntu 11.10 and I see this issue only if the computer has been ON for more than a day or two.

@wojox Hmmm... I just checked with sudo fdisk -l none of my partitions say SWAP.... – drN Sep 16 '12 at 0:06
