Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I feel as though I've taken a step backward by upgrading from Ubuntu 10.04LTS to 12.04.1. The old system had no problem recognizing Androids or Blackberries. The new system failed to recognize my Android Samsung Replenish, so I switched to a BlackBerry Curve 9310.

Same problem! What's wrong with the system? Can anything be done to solve this? Or am I better off going back to Lucid Lynx (which would be a great disappointment)? :-( I'd appreciate help with both my Blackberry Curve 9310 and my Samsung Replenish Android. Thank you for listening.
