I am trying to install Ubuntu Desktop 12.04 LTS on my first build machine. The installation process goes through, but after I reboot the machine and withdraw the CD, it does not seem to boot. Here is my specs

ASRock 990FX Extreme4
AMD Phenom II X4
16Gs of Crucial Ballistix sport
APEVIA ATX-AS680W-BL 680W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready Power Supply
Western Digital Caviar Blue WD2500AAKX 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 
   3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

Any help would be appreciated
