I have old computer because of the it have 512 MB ram i have installed Lubuntu.

Could please help me how to connect to internet. DSL connection using network manager.

If you plug in an ethernet cable connected to a modem with an active ADSL connection, you should be connected automatically. What happens in your case? – user86682 Sep 13 '12 at 13:36
in ubuntu 11.04 i am connecting to internet throuth sudo pppoeconf command. it get connected. but in 12.04 i am unable to connect to internet through pppoeconf.on askubuntu i found some article that using network manager - adding dsl connection we can able to conect inter only i have put user name ,passsword and ISP name. – Vijay Nalawade Sep 13 '12 at 13:38
