I just upgraded from 10.04 to 12.04. All data files in the Ubuntu partition are gone. Windows 7 partition is fine. I tried a find command from root and didn't find any. Is there a way to recover these files. 12.04 seems to be running fine.

How did you do the upgrade? Was it a fresh installation? Did you format your partition by accident? – January Sep 12 '12 at 16:13
