The webcam only works on Windows and not on Ubuntu. I know little of computers. A friend of mine installed Ubuntu.

Can you explain why you think it does not work? Also please provide more information about your system such as Ubuntu version and the application you tested your webcam with. – gertvdijk Sep 12 '12 at 14:05
I think i got the standard newest Ubuntu version on a pc. I used Skype to test the webcam. – Daan Sep 12 '12 at 18:20
