I have 2 problems with my Ubuntu Server 12.04.1 install. This is installed on a biostar a75mg motherboard with an amd a4 3300 dual core cpu with integrated integrated radeon graphics. The system has 4 gig of ram and a 1TB hard drive.
The problem is that when the monitor goes into sleep mode, no amount of tickling they keys or the mouse will restore it to proper operation. Unplugging and reconnecting the keyboard has no effect on the situation.
The only way to return it to life is to reboot.
The second problem is uninstalling the server. It has infected the UEFI to such an extent that a live cd doesn't show the install option.
Any suggestions?
