I am not able to see wired connection options in header menu.

I can see wireless option but still It is not working.

Could any one suggest what I am missing?

Please find my ifconfig output:

Is the Light of your network card glowing? Generally there's a green light and a yellow light. Yellow light blinks when data is transmitted. Could you please tell me which is your network card. – hari Sep 3 '12 at 0:58
