Brightness problem with Samsung laptop

Recently installed Ubuntu on my Samsung Laptop NP300E5ZA0PIN and there is a brightness problem. The function+brightness key doesnt come below 30% and also flickers which hangs my laptop and I have to forcefully shutdown the laptop and restart again.
