I have a problem with my Dell Dimension 9200 and the integrated graphics card. The Ubuntu Live CD works fine. It chooses the resolution 2560x1440 for my apple display. Now when I try to install ubuntu, on the next boot it just displays a black screen. The /var/log/xorg.0.log says it fails to load the module fglrx (doesnt exist), then tries to load module vesa but fails also because its already loaded. Apart from that, no real hint.

How can I manually install graphics drivers from the Live CD?

many thanks
