I tried many times to install 12.04 and 12.10 both 64-bit, but both versions do not recognized the 500GB Serial ATA hard drive (5400 rpm) and 32GB solid state drive.

Somebody knows how to fix this problem?

I have Ubuntu 12.04 installed on a SDD with no problems. If you try to install other operating systems do they work? – LnxSlck Aug 24 '12 at 16:46
How are you installing? – Mitch Aug 24 '12 at 17:01
Yes, in fact my Sony Vaio has Windows 7 Home Premium, but when I try to install Ubuntu at partition step, ubuntu can't show the devices. – Patrik Aug 24 '12 at 22:52
