I 'm working on setting up a fast download game server for half-life. I have game set up works good, have vsftp setup and working, game folder is in home/user file can ftp in. Have Apache set up can see it on the web.

How do I set up the routine with MySQL that where I can ftp a file into game folder and it will copy it to my fast download folder and compress it with bz2 format and set permissions? permissions games ftp vsftp
