After installing a new hard drive, I re-installed the version which I had (Ubuntu 10.10) from CD. When it finished installing, it showed the login screen but but would not let me login to Ubuntu.
It keeps saying I have the wrong password but if I use the safe mode, it works with the same login ID and password.
Also the guest account before install does not work.
