Whenever I try the application INXI it always display the graphics card as follows:

System: Host: ziltoid-pc Kernel: 3.2.0-30-generic x86_64 (64 bit) Desktop: KDE 4.9.00 Distro: Ubuntu 12.04 precise
Machine: Mobo: ASUSTeK model: M4A89GTD-PRO version: Rev 1.xx Bios: American Megatrends version: 2101 date: 04/08/2011
CPU: Hexa core AMD Phenom II X6 1090T (-MCP-) cache: 3072 KB flags: (lm nx sse sse2 sse3 sse4a svm)
Clock Speeds: 1: 4013.636 MHz 2: 4013.636 MHz 3: 4013.636 MHz 4: 4013.636 MHz 5: 4013.636 MHz 6: 4013.636 MHz
Graphics: Card: NVIDIA Device 1189
X.Org: 1.11.3 drivers: nvidia (unloaded: nouveau,vesa,fbdev) Resolution: 1920x1080@60.0hz
GLX Renderer: GeForce GTX 670/PCIe/SSE2 GLX Version: 4.2.0 NVIDIA 304.37

As you can see it displays the GLX renderer correctly but not the actual card itself. On the INXI support forum I was told that it was due to the fact my kernel was released before the card (3.2.0). The GTX 670 was released to the public in May 2012. I tried upgrading the kernel to 3.5.1 through the kernel mainline site but this didn't change anything.

Any ideas?
