I have a user profile on 12.04 which is having trouble, its missing deja backup crashes when trying to do smart tests and has a few other minor problems. If I log into the guest account or another account these problems go away.
Creating a new user profile will prove difficult for me as I have a few setups VPN Firefox Thunderbird and other cached user stuff.
Is there a way I can restore the deja backup options into the profile and can I repair packages / settings in the user profile for disk utility, this would also be handy? If so, how do I do this?
If logs / more info is needed please let me know.
