I am trying to write a song generator shell script for espeak. Is it possible to set the pitch for individual spoken words with espeak? I'd like to be able to create "songs" this way using espeak.

For example, I'd like espeak to speak "The area of a circle is pi times r squared", with a different pitch for each word. – Anderson Green Aug 21 '12 at 14:21
