I run full upgraded ubuntu 12.04 with gnome-shell. Some time ago I fixed tearing by adding:
CLUTTER_PAINT=disable-clipped-redraws:disable-culling to /etc/environment and restart pc
but it just doesn't work anymore. With or without this line the windows have tearing while moving. I also tried CLUTTER_VBLANK=True with no use at all. Any way to fix the tearing now? lshw http://pastebin.com/fGRQ4bGW glxinfo http://pastebin.com/gsy2Cr31
