Not sure how to get the ipod to recognize the files put on it. It says they are on there but then the ipod says no files. I have tried 2 other mp3s "Sandisk" & "Shuffle", same story. Can't get passed the error messages that tell me:
Could not find iPod directory structure at '/media/IPOD'.
If you are sure that the iPod is properly mounted at '/media/IPOD', it may not be initialized for use.
In this case, gtkpod can initialize it for you.
Using the gtkpod program seemed most promising, but again the same error messages. Is there any other program or is there a terminal command?
