JDownloader is a very good tool for downloading videos that are embedded in websites. Just install it and enable the plugin in your browser (chrome and firefox I think) and then hit the JDownloader button when on a page with embedded video.

It can be used to download videos from YouTube or any other flash embedded video.

Ant Video Downloader is another add on for Firefox that enables downloading of videos mostly from any site. I personally use it and I can say that's it's very user-friendly. It can detect videos aside those from YouTube and you can easily customize its preferences.

I agree that Any Video Downloader is the best choice, it's free and reliable. But if you prefer not to install something to your computer or subscribe to a service, you may also take free online downloader like Zamzar. Just search it on web and you can use it directly.
