On my Ubuntu 12.04 host 64bit, I have many different VMWare images which are running fine. However, for the new Suse Linux 10, which was downloaded from Teradata website and unzipped by 7z, it is really slow, where ssh login will take about 1 minute, and starting a new terminal from Suse Xwindow will also take about 1 minute. The application (Teradata) is also slow. But the CPU/Memory/IO is not showing some bottlenecks. How can I troubleshoot this? Any log I need to post here?
