I get the following error when I run

sudo apt-get update

/usr/lib/apt/methods/https: error while loading shared libraries: libkrb5support.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

there was some udisk error recently, I rebooted it asked me to fix / and some error in having /tmp running

I rebooted and now I cannot update or run chromium

update i tried booting into recovery mode now it wont even boot saying failed to find / – sarveshlad Aug 15 '12 at 0:55
You messed up with libray files , have you deleted or replace them , if not deleted then try sudo ldconfig and post what yopu find – tijybba Aug 15 '12 at 6:01
i can no longer boot into ubuntu – sarveshlad Aug 15 '12 at 19:35
