I am using 12.04 LTS. I am not able to connect to my wireless network.

However, if I reboot with the Ethernet cable network, the system connects with the wireless network from the router.

I did the installation (activation) from system settings and additional drivers ... on a side note I got ATI/AMD proprietary FGLRX graphics driver (post release updates) which is not being activated ... an error message telling me to check var/log/jockey.log

What is going on and how do I fix this?

Do you think it could be a clash between 2 drivers? – Sharat Aug 14 '12 at 10:48
Have you installed your own driver ? This could be the problem Ubuntu uses a general driver that supports most hardware. – mark kirby Aug 14 '12 at 11:00
